Out of Band Management

7G Fuse appliances provide dedicated Out-of-Band (OOB) management, offering a separate and secure path for device administration independent of the main data network. This ensures that network management and troubleshooting remain available even if the primary network experiences disruptions.

Dedicated Management Port

Each 7G Fuse enterprise appliance includes an additional management port, specifically designed for administrative access. This port is isolated from regular WAN and LAN traffic, enabling secure, uninterrupted management of the device.

VRF-Based Separation

The management port supports VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding), which creates a fully isolated routing environment for device management. This ensures that administrative traffic remains separate from user data, enhancing security and preventing interference with normal network operations.

Key Benefits
  • Secure Access: Manage devices safely without exposing management traffic to the main network.
  • Uninterrupted Control: Access appliances even during network outages or performance issues.
  • Isolated Management Traffic: VRF ensures complete separation from production network traffic.
  • Efficient Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve network issues without affecting end-users.
