The 7G Mobility series is designed exactly for this environment, combining multiple 4G/5G cellular links with satellite-based connections to deliver a seamless, cost-efficient and always-on connectivity solution.
At the heart of the system is the 7G Fuse advanced load-balancing algorithm, which continuously monitors the quality and signal strength of all active SIM cards and WAN links. When the yacht is near the shoreline, the unit automatically prioritizes 4G/5G SIM connectivity to provide high-speed Internet at the lowest operational cost.
As the yacht travels away from the coast and the algorithm detects a drop in cellular signal strength, the 7G Mobility appliance automatically switches to satellite connectivity, both primary and secondary satellite links (up to two) can be combined or used as backup, ensuring uninterrupted service even in deep-sea conditions.
