Intelligent load balancing

Single user traffic utilizing all internet links

 

Load balancing feature of 7G Fuse sends traffic from single user via multiple internet links. For example, if a user is using 3 different applications (Google, Office 365 & Salesforce) and 7G Fuse has 3 internet links, then for each application or session a different internet link will be utilized which will result in effective utilization of all available bandwidth.

Five methods used in 7G Fuse Load Balancing

Round Robin ( default )
User sessions will be equally distributed amongst all available internet links.
Weighted Based ( ratio )
User sessions will be distributed on the basis of ratio assigned between each internet link. Any internet link having greater weightage value will carry more user sessions or traffic.
Policy Based ( PBR )
User sessions will be distributed on the basis of source IP and or destination IP.
Persistence Based
User session will stick to a particular internet link for sub-sessions required by banking or source IP sensitive sites.
Metric Based ( Active-Standby )
User sessions will be distributed on the basis of metric assigned to each internet link. Greater metric links will operate in standby mode whereas the lesser metric links will operate as active links
